China began to implement the policy of reform and opening to the outside world in 1978. A great number of coastal cities were opened for preferential development. Shenzhen City was designated as a special economic zone in early 1980s. Meanwhile, SDCIC has stipulated an enterprise-level standard—Application Technology of Decorative Woodwork and Quality Inspection Specifications, so as to realize scientific, standardized and normalized production and give guidance on scientific operation of its industrialization.?

In addition, SDCIC has attached great importance to the establishment of industrial linkage platform when promoting all-around corporate development and striving to provide all-around services for customers. General Manager Hu Zhengfu said that design construction integration and one-stop industrial service is the tendency of industrial development. In order to match the corporate goal and meet the demand of SDCIC’ future development, SDCIC has built a new office building. It is learned that the new office building is located in Futian Bonded Zone of Shenzhen City. The total building area is approximately 60000 square meters, of which the planned commercial area is 20000 square meters. It can accommodate over 100 design companies and more than 200 material suppliers as a comprehensive building integrating design, construction and materials that has the largest scale and the most complete facilities in Shenzhen and even the whole country.

The year 2013 is the 30th anniversary of SDCIC’s foundation and a crucial year when SDCIC vigorously expanded the national market and further constructed the building decoration industrial chain. General Manager Hu Zhengfu hopes that SDCIC will take this opportunity to use the new office building as the platform, introduce excellent design agencies and material suppliers, enhance the communication and cooperation with designers and material suppliers, establish a complete industrial chain that integrates design, construction and materials, promote upstream-downstream linkage of decoration industry, form quality assurance of materials, promote construction via design and support design with construction, and promote three-side cooperative development, so as to form win-win situation and promote sound and sustainable development of SDCIC.?
